To Qydah (<3)! Who turned 17 today!

Today was fun at Qydah's. It consisted of Qydah and I, Amelia and Sho, Najihah, and Laura. Small group, but it was fun nonetheless.

First we watched Step Up 2 and Night At The Museum, had some tasty food throughout. Played an uber cool electronic banking version of Monopoly afterwards. I kept daydreaming throughout the game. I just can't restrain myself from listening to ANY music in the background. I'm just not used to simple songs, therefore I guess it made my mind feel bored and thus put in screensaver mode. 2 years of listening to nothing but guitar-oriented music has REALLY put a toll on me.. (sigh). As our boredom heightened while playing Monopoly, we decided to abandon the game, and conveniently enough AMELIA demanded that the person with the least money at the end of the game to SING on the karaoke. Shortly after which, Laura came around and joined us. So today was the first time I karaoke-ed, its okay as I found stuff that I know. Which reminds me, I DEMAND THOSE VIDEOS. x.x

I also demand the necklaces to arrive BEFORE THE END OF THIS WEEK. I'm so paranoid about it, gah. I need to distract myself somehow, that pile of homework does NOT look inviting but it's the most productive thing I could do. That's aside for being on hiatus from Bukit Shahbandar for a WEEK, stupid ankle. ¬_¬

Ok, I've nothing more to say now...

Sorry I kept daydreaming. A lot of those songs put me in the mood to think about you, especially THAT one.. =D Weird isn't it? I can daydream about my feelings towards you even though you're right beside me.

Listening to my Everygrey discography. This stuff can really make you feel sad, depressed and very sympathetic. Only some tracks though, mostly from the In Search of Truth album (I guess). The lyrics are very poetic, mostly in a dark but brooding tone.

Today has been an OK day.. Despite injuring my ankle earlier today. It was from trekking at Shahbandar with Amelia + Shotaro, Mr Edwards, Mrs Hancox and her daughter. It was deep in the jungle-ish area where the "steps" were unusually high. I thought one of the steps wasn't as steep even though it had a puddle in it. I had no other choice but to step onto that one. My foot turned inwards as soon as I reached the puddle, and OUCH! Thankfully Shotaro helped me out, Mr Edwards got me moving on and advising me to keep going. It's not that bad, I just cant run. So as we progressed on with the hills, it started raining and eventually poured heavily. Dad says I should've brought extra clothes as there is a health risk if I allow my rain-drenched clothes to dry on my skin.

On a lighter note, Qydah got her hair straightened back today and I can't wait to see it! ^^
She's also feeling better even though she's been sick for the past for days (?). Correct me if I'm wrong on that ^¬^

The cousins went for a night out, I couldn't go 'cause I'm so "kapih" and this ankle of mine isn't helping me one bit. Hopefully I'll go out tomorrow at least. Even if I have absolutely NO clue on where to go except Coffee Bean.

Yesterday I went out with Qydah, Amelia, Chloe+Daniel, Jennifer, Adam, Akmal, Adib, FauzAY to Gadong.. (No other place really).

First we all met up in Excapade for a HUGE sushi banquet and "surprise" celebration for Daniel's birthday. I'm using "banquet" because it really WAS like one. Here's why:

I'm listening to Jag Panzer discography right now (I didn't allocate any time to listen to this band in a while, Chris Broderick is a GENIUS).

Anyway, there's just been a shitload of schoolwork that I've managed to dig my way through since the last time I blogged. I'll let you in on things that have happened recently..

I cut my hair short several days ago. I couldn't renew my IC without showing my ears (naturally, ponytails are a no-no), long hair was fun while it lasted.. I cant wait to let it grow long enough to be able to look like troneko's! I kind of had a similar, but shorter hairstyle for my TFL Oyster card. I like doing all sorts of things to my hair, within reason. Pretty much, it's the only metrosexual aspect about me. Ok, some people might say my taste in clothing is quite metrosexual, but I just wear whatever I find nice and looks good on me (vice versa). Here's a little secret for guys, who don't like to buy a lot of clothes.. Have a sensible amount of clothing, but make sure clothes of one kind are ALL mix-and-match(-able). So whenever you have/want to buy new clothes, make sure they can correlate with the ones you already have. it just breathes new life into your old clothes. Although, I'm not saying you should treat your clothes like shit.. Especially those branded stuff. Most important point of all, BE YOURSELF AND CREATE YOUR OWN STYLE, EVEN IF SOMEONE SAYS IT LOOKS SIMILAR TO WHATEVER. :D

On Wednesday earlier this week, I went to Bukit Shahbandar for some exercise.. 9 hills! My legs still hurt, feeling just a bit better now. Qydah's anemia kicked in on the first hill, I was ahead of her, I got so worried! After a few hills, she told Amelia that she felt better and colour back on her face. I couldn't bear to picture how pale she looked like! She also couldn't feel her legs, which is a frightening thought as she is on a hill. When me and the others finished the whole trek, I was glad to see her back to normal. I felt so relieved :)

Thursday, alot happened.. not that I could reveal here (Oh, it regards many people) :P

Today's careers day at RBRC was good, although I do get tired of the university advertising though. It was very fulfilling to know what HSE and Psychology people do. I'm going to the fair tomorrow at Rizqun as well, on reference by one of the universities I'm eyeing at. Qydah apparently had a vending machine say "Hi" to her as we went to the other conference room. Thank god I didn't go for the supposedly dreadful presentation by Leeds. Apparently it went overtime. Qydah and Naj had to be polite and NOT be one of the others who slowly drifted away over the course of the presentation.. Kudos to you two! xD

I might've left out many other things these 10 days had, but I don't want to enthrall Isa once more with my ability to write shitloads.

I'm going to watch The Spiderwick Chronicles with some people (not sure who yet) on Sunday! It's got a good rating on RottenTomatoes, so I expect something decent to say the least.
